The Mussel Festival Art Show attracts artists from all over the Bellarine who display and sell their work in Parks Hall on festival day. So make sure you pay them a visit and maybe pick up a new piece of art for your wall.
With over 30 local artists exhibiting, the show provides visitors with a diverse range of works in a variety of mediums and styles and is a must-see. Both the Port Snappers and the Port Arts Network add a great touch of colour to the festival.
Details
Date: Saturday 13th January, 2024
Venue: Parks Hall, Newcombe St, Portarlington
Maximum three original paintings per artist. $10 per entry. (See payment methods below)
No commission on sales.
Artwork no larger than 100cm x 100cm or equivalent. (Due to space restrictions)
Delivery of artworks
Friday 12th Jan, 10am-12 noon. PLEASE have your work ready for hanging, ie firmly attached cord or wire and your business card (or card of similar size) neatly printed with your name, title of work and price securely attached to the front bottom right-hand side of your painting.
Ensure that your delivered painting matches the title/price etc that you sent on your original submission. So keep a record of your submissions and prices. This saves a lot of work for the organisers.
Collection of artworks
Artwork must be collected from Parks Hall at the end of the festival from 4:30- 5pm, Saturday 13th Jan.
Important
Organisers have the right to reject work that is deemed not appropriate.
While utmost care is taken, organisers take no responsibility for loss or damage to artworks. Insurance is the responsibility of the artist.
